This symposium is conducted under the guidance of the Department of Industrial Technology, MOEA. It is jointly organized by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Kyushu Semiconductor Digital Innovation Association (SIIQ), and Kyushu Semiconductor Human Resources Development Group, with special invitations extended to National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Kyushu University, among other Taiwanese and Japanese academic institutions, to engage in scholarly and technical exchanges.

The symposium will focus on "Semiconductor Equipment Technology," bringing together key figures from the industry, academia, and research sectors in Taiwan and Japan, along with leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers from both countries, for in-depth technical discussions. The objective is to provide diverse pathways for building the Taiwan-Japan semiconductor supply chain ecosystem, foster bilateral R&D collaboration, enhance international competitiveness, and strengthen the resilience of the domestic industrial chain. Additionally, the event aims to promote the development of an environment conducive to the cultivation of professional technical talent.
